Olio Bova

The Società Agricola Bova is located in Amaroni, in the province of Catanzaro, on the historic "Strada dei Sapori Cassiodorei", the route described by Magnus Aurelius Cassiodorus who celebrated the goodness of the products from these lands in his writings. A family-run company founded by Bova Raffaele, a passionate olive grower, today continues thanks to the work of his children with the same dedication and expertise passed down through generations.

Since its origins in the 1980s, the company has been dedicated to certified organic farming, combining technological innovation with respect for natural tradition. Bova extra virgin olive oil comes from the native Carolea variety, a rustic cultivar that has lived in the area since ancient times, receiving a score of 8 in 2010 from international tasting panels. Thanks to cold pressing, the oil stands out for being delicate yet savory, refined and rich in fruity notes, never excessively bitter or spicy.
