Aleppo Soap can be considered the most natural soap available; in fact, it is still made in Syria today using an unchanged traditional recipe, mixing the oil obtained from the cold pressing of Bay Laurel berries with Olive oil, slowly cooked, manually cut into bars, and dried for 10-12 months in the air and under the warm Eastern sun. It is precisely this long drying process that gives this soap a long-lasting quality.
