At Tenuta Margherita, the rough rice, or paddy, after being stored in silos for about 60 days, enters the rice mill. After various processing stages, the whole grain rice undergoes only 2 passes inside our conical “Hamburg” Minghetti polishers. Thanks to this old second-degree stone milling method, the rice is only gently touched, preserving all its organoleptic and nutritional properties intact. Every grain that leaves the Margherita rice mill is superior in every way.
