Production: Podere dei Folli dedicates the "Dama" bottle to Amalia Brunati, the captivating woman who won the heart of Senator Pompeo Molmenti and inspired the creation of these outstanding rosé wines on the shores of the enchanting Lake Garda. La Dama represents the ultimate expression of the winery's expertise in producing rosé wines with extraordinary longevity.
The winemaking process for this premium label is a true ritual that begins with the grape harvest at sunrise, when the morning's freshness best preserves their organoleptic qualities. The bunches of grapes from vines over 40 years old are carefully selected, delicately placed in small crates, and immediately transported to the cellar. Here, expert eyes and hands meticulously select the grapes, which are then carefully poured into the press without undergoing any stress.
In the press, the temperature is reduced to 5 degrees, starting the process of extracting the must and macerating the skins through cryomaceration. The musts are extracted using a very high-quality method, obtaining only the free-run must and losing 20% of the initial must.
Alcoholic fermentation occurs naturally, thanks to the use of native yeasts. Fifty percent of the wine ferments in small oak barrels, while the other half ferments in stainless steel tanks, contributing to the wine's extraordinary balance.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for a further three years on its fine lees, promoting yeast autolysis and helping to create a unique profile. This is followed by bottling, where the wine continues to evolve, creating an extraordinary and highly valuable bottle.
Alcohol: 12.50%

The nose reveals notes of apricot jam and delicate hints of sweet spices, with an underlying mineral nuance. Woody and spicy notes also emerge clearly, evoking the enveloping aroma of sandalwood and the warmth of amber. Mandarin adds a lively citrus note, while argan oil lends a unique softness, lending depth to the overall composition. This combination of elements creates an enveloping and seductive fragrance that enchants the senses with its complexity and sophisticated harmony.

This experience is further enriched by enchanting honeyed notes that add a natural and enveloping sweetness, by sweet spices that lend a touch of warmth and vitality, and by elegant woody tones that bring a pleasant sensation of robustness and structure to the overall flavor.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
The "Dama" wine takes its name from the initials of the owners of the Podere dei Folli winery, Davide and Marco. Furthermore, the reference to the last three letters, "ama," is a tribute to Amalia Brunati, who, together with Pompeo Molmenti, led the codification of the first rosé wine on Lake Garda.
The bottle features a drawing of a lady, inspired by Amalia Brunati, who won the heart of Senator Pompeo Molmenti for her production of rosés on Lake Garda. The lady's figure is outlined only, leaving the interior transparent so the wine can color her, creating a unique and captivating visual effect.
At the bottom of the dress you can see stylized grapes in Pop Art style, representing the native grape variety "Groppello".
The background of the bottle recalls the waters of Lake Garda, with graphic elements that evoke the lake environment, creating a visual connection with the place where the wine is produced.
Furthermore, the figure of the lady evokes the Rocca di Manerba, one of the symbols and icons of Lake Garda. This detail is characterized by a purple polka dot pattern, recalling both the Pop Art style and the color of the grapes used in the winemaking process.
Another characteristic of the bottle is the presence of a sun, which can also be interpreted as a lemon. This symbol represents the bright sun that characterizes Lake Garda's Mediterranean climate and also evokes the union between wine and food, as lemon is one of the ingredients that make Lake Garda so famous.
Finally, on the right side of the lady's figure, swans, typical birds of Lake Garda, are depicted flying in the sky. This detail adds a touch of movement and freedom, evoking the serene and open atmosphere of Lake Garda.
