Le Pennette rigate Pasta di Canossa are made with 100% Italian semi-whole durum wheat semolina: the wheat is grown and processed at the Tenuta Cuniola pasta factory in San Martino, Ferrara. The best wheat is selected, grown, and processed locally, resulting in high-quality pasta.
Pasta di Canossa is an artisanal pasta with a rough and porous texture, perfectly holding its shape when cooked, with a light ochre color, characteristic of bronze-drawing and slow drying.
Usage tips: The distinctive ridges and shape of the Pennette allow them to absorb sauce perfectly. They are excellent for pasta salads, with seasonal vegetable sauces, or with a traditional meat ragù with tomato.
