Pure Shea Butter

Shea butter can be used to keep the skin of the face and body elastic and hydrated, to soothe redness and chapping (of the hands, lips, or caused by diaper use in children), as an aftershave (reduces redness and dry skin), for massages, as a sunscreen: both for sun exposure (it contains natural UV filters) and as an after-sun (thanks to its moisturizing, emollient, and soothing properties), and for hair (both as a pre-shampoo treatment and to keep it in place). In Africa, the Shea tree is called "The Tree of Health."
