Mountain Herb Speck “Whole Slab” Premium, 3.4 kg: a whole slab of speck coated with South Tyrolean mountain herbs, to be thinly sliced.

SEPP'Manufaktur's herb speck is made from the hind leg of Vulkanland pork bearing the AMA quality seal. In keeping with tradition, the meat is dry-cured with salt and natural spices for around 10 days in the mountain air, then lightly smoked and aged for at least 6 months. Once aged, the piece is washed, dried, and coated with fragrant South Tyrolean mountain herbs.

How to enjoy it

Speck is at its best when sliced as thinly as possible, perpendicular to the meat fibers; this gives it just the right texture when bitten into.

Pork (Vulkanland pork bearing the AMA quality seal)*, salt, spices (herbs 0.2%), edible pork gelatin**, dextrose, preservatives: sodium nitrite, potassium nitrate.

It does not contain genetically modified organisms that must be declared on the label; no genetically modified materials were used in its production (Regulations (EC) 1829/2003 and 1830/2003).
