Made with Type 1 flour which represents the right balance between the typical bread-making ability of refined flours and the greater supply of nutrients guaranteed by wholemeal soft wheat flour. Unlike white flours 00 and 0, this type of flour is less refined as it contains a greater quantity of bran and wheat germ which, being rich in fiber, mineral salts and vitamins, significantly increase its nutritional value and digestibility.
