Tuscan Olive Oil
L'Oleificio Toscano Morettini is among the most cutting-edge companies in Italy in the production, packaging, and sale of Tuscan IGP extra virgin olive oil.
A key factor in the success of the Morettini Tuscan olive mill is its prime location in the heart of the Valdichiana, among gentle hills
characterized by favorable soil and climate conditions that support many olive varieties: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Corregiolo.
It all began in 1950 with an idea by Armando Morettini, who, after the war ended, obtained a license from the Municipality of Monte San Savino
the license to trade in food products. The area where he lived, the Valdichiana, was rich in producers of quality Tuscan olive oil and other food products,
so he began selecting their best products, loading them onto his bicycle-drawn cart, and selling them to families living in the countryside.
L's flair, passion and dedication to this work quickly brought Armando success and, consequently, door-to-door sales in the early years gave way to a regular spot at markets and fairs, run with the constant support of his wife Elvia.
It was no longer Morettini going to the customers; instead, customers came looking for Morettini.
